Kimmel's Keynotes

Pastor Mike Lewis Kimmel was born in Houston and then grew up in a farming community four miles west of Tomball, TX. He graduated from Tomball High School in 1977 and then went on to work for Klein's Supermarket in Tomball for more than 24 years. In 1989, Pastor Kimmel married Nancy Spain and they now have 3 adult children. In 2001, Pastor Kimmel and his family left Tomball and headed to Fort Wayne, IN to attend Concordia University and then in 2005, he was accepted into the Master of Divinity program at Concordia Theological Seminary. He was assigned a delayed vicarage to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waco, TX in 2007 where he completed his vicarage under the Reverends Joel Boesche and Walter Albers. Pastor Kimmel was extended a call to serve Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Mt. Pleasant as well as St. John Lutheran Church in Clarksville and has been serving both churches since 2008.
